WE BUILD YOUR DOWNLINE" PYRAMIDS
We will "Build Your Downline" schemes require an endless streams of recruits
for success. "New" recruits give money to companies who swear that they will
build your downline. You put up the money and presto you get a profitable
downline built with no work on your part! Some of the people that offer these
"builder programs" are honest but just "MATHEMATICALLY CHALLENGED." The pile of
people to build a downline for everyone that comes along would be about 63 feet
high (figuring the average height in the US at 5'8"). To recruit 10 people if
for every one if you were on the 9th level would take 10 billion people. Little
hard since there are only about 6 billion people on earth! Is Intergalactic
recruiting the answer?
A diagram will help!

You can bet that the founders of the company or downline building scheme have
themselves and their family filling levels 1, 2, and 3 (or more). So you are
starting, at best, on level 4. For the 1000 of you starting on level 4 it is
going to take 10,000 people just to get you 10 people. To get you guys 20 people
it is going to take 100,000. To make any of you money you have to fill your 3rd
level which will take a million people (1,000,000). For your information there
are no million people MLM's left in the U.S. To continue your 4th level would
take 10 million people!
That is why past scams like American Business Publications (Postal
Inspectors), Winner's Circle (FL shutdown), Winning Edge (Nv shutdown with
guns), Purchase Plus (Ohio AG), and others ended up with Attorney General's
eating their lunch. The numbers don't work and the money doesn't flow! Simple
Math! The key to identifying these scams is they tell you to give them money and
they will do the work to build your downline. Although gimmicks like “free
downline building” (a drip system) are legal they don’t seem to build strong downlines.
The real time cause of action starts when the people at the bottom don’t make
money as promised (and paid for) which mathematically has to happen. They quit
and demand their money back. The promoters have spent $$$$ money trying to
recruiters others but can’t. The promoter in some (not all) cases goes broke.
Many of these have real live products and services that would be viable on
the open market. An infomercial hypster (and now convicted felon), John Polk,
did one of the biggest with 2 extreme Performance (2XP). By buying packages of
nutritionals (actually they were quality products) people were assured that the
same infomercial that brought them into 2XP, would build their downline for
them. Others used phone cards, financial training and assorted other materials
and had the people pay for having others recruited. One company charged $325 for
recruiting services and some people put in as much as $50,000 to have experts
build their downlines for them.
Real downline building puts you in a team. A person that does not like to
sell or talk to people may very well perform support functions such as mailing
postcards, answering questions, mailing letters or placing co-op ads. The key to
these successful programs is that they work on a small group basis with a
limited and reasonable amount of expense. The people participating are
encouraged to learn and receive training to become a more active partner. They
don’t spend much money and so if they fail they they haven’t invested much
money.
